Anne Mack-Wheaton, APRN, PMHNP

Anne is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, person centered, and holistic care to adults with mental illness. Her philosophy of care emphasizes the therapeutic relationship with clients. She understands that medications are only one part of the treatment picture. Also important is the client’s physical health, environment, and relationships. In making treatment recommendations, Anne considers the client’s values, beliefs, strengths, coping abilities, and available resources.

Anne’s fifteen years in the mental health field include positions on an inpatient psychiatric unit, IRTS (Intensive Residential Treatment Services) facilities, ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) teams, and in community settings. She has experience serving clients with a variety of mental health issues, including psychotic disorders, bipolar illness, and those that struggle with depression and anxiety.

Anne received her Associate’s degree in nursing from the St. Catherine’s University in 2000, a Bachelor’s degree in nursing from the same university in 2004, and a Master’s degree from the University of Minnesota in 2008.
