Nancy A. Kermath, M.D.
Dr. Nancy Kermath is a board certified psychiatrist practicing privately at Psych Recovery, Inc.
Dr. Kermath's education includes completing undergraduate training and Doctor of Medicine in Psychiatry
from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Kermath also completed psychiatric residencies through the University
of Minnesota Medical Center, Mount Sinai Hospital (New York, New York), and The Veterans Hospital
(Sepulveda, California).
Dr. Kermath's experience includes practice and consultation in many twin cities reputable inpatient and
outpatient centers for treatment of mental illness and chemical dependency. Including successful psychiatry
practices at Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center, Hazelden Recovery, Meridian, Minneapolis Institute of
Psychiatry located at Abbott hospital as well as being the medical director at Unity's Chemical Dependency
Unit, Medical Director at Riverwood Center in Prescott Wisconsin. Dr. Kermath also held psychiatry positions
at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Minneapolis as well as at Group Health Medical Center.
Dr. Kermath specializes in mental, chemical, emotional and behavioral disorders in adults at her outpatient
clinic at PR, Inc.. This includes specialty and experience in mood and anxiety disorders, eating disorders,
bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and general psychiatric care and consultation. Dr. Kermath is also an
instructor in the department of psychiatry at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Kermath received her board certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She has
been nationally recognized for many career accomplishments, including many listings in editions of Consumers
Research Council of America's "Guide to America's Top Psychiatrists".
