Solveig Intensive Outpatient Program

The way to the Soul is to Live Well Be Well

Solveig Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

is offered at Psych Recovery with Daytime groups.

Solveig integrates Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT), which are evidence-based approaches that help clients with a wide range of emotional and behavioral difficulties.

The Solveig approach helps clients learn to experience and tolerate intense feelings (i.e. coping with pain, anxiety, sadness) while minimizing reactivity.

Insurance

The program is covered by most insurance companies and may be covered by short term disability.

The administrative teams will verify benefits and complete any pre-certification process before clients begin the program.

Program Criteria

The Solveig Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a short-term program designed specifically for adults who are experiencing emotional difficulties, but who do not require (or no longer require) the intensity of inpatient psychiatric care.

Diagnostic and Functional

Clients will undergo diagnostic and functional assessments by an IOP mental health professional prior to beginning a group.

Additional Support

Clients in our IOP program are supported with weekly individual psychotherapy and psychiatry appointments.
